I am Giliam, a product designer and researcher based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the division of Product Development at Chalmers University of Technology, focusing on developing the area of Sustainable Product Development. In this role i focus on developing knowledge and support for sustainable and circular product design, with a current focus on collaboration and co-creation to enable sustainable and circular value chains.

In my design and research work, I am driven by the multi-faceted environmental and societal challenges of today. I believe that good design can contribute to a sustainable and circular future, but it requires evidence-based research, systemic approaches, and interdisciplinary collaboration. My passion for design, research, and sustainability has made me pursue a PhD in circular design, which revolves around the role of design and co-creation in the transition to a circular economy.

Through 10+ years of combined experience in design and research, I have developed a wide skill set ranging from industrial design to digital product design (UI/UX) and became competent in organizing and executing mixed-method research (deploying both qualitative and quantitative research). I am a holistic thinker and like to find creative solutions to complex issues, I thrive in multi-disciplinary environments and like facilitating co-creative processes and workshops in multi-stakeholder contexts, I am a dedicated team worker and proficient communicator and public speaker.
